Based in the UK with tons of records sitting here in boxes waiting to be set free into the collections of the hungry, needy and wanty.
This isn't my main job - in fact, it's not even my job - but rest assured that having worked in the 'industry' for nearly 15 years, I know how to grade, pack and send a record or two.
I'll be steadily listing lots of nice records over the very near future so if you have any wants, send them over.
I'll hold records for 5 days - after that they go back out there, so if you want anything, those are the terms. As tedious and brain-frying as it is, I endeavour to provide a soundclip of both sides of the record (or selected tracks from an album) as well as a scan (just one side) with as much additional information as necessary. You'll also notice there's a colour dot code on each record page to let you know if something is a vinyl or styrene pressing. Some people are freaky about that sort of detail.
When it comes selling stuff I like to keep it straighforward and simple. I reckon that if you're nice enough to shell out quickly
for your wants then it's only fair I get the goods sent fast. So, anything paid for by 3pm on the same day will normally be sent the same day: no orders collecting dust on the desk for weeks because I can't face the 5 minute walk to the Post Office and all the joys it brings once there.
Lastly, while I try to be nice and give discounts for people filling the bag so to speak, equally I try to price things realistically to avoid any embarrassing bartering or haggling - having done this sort of thing for longer than I care to remember I kind of have a handle on the value of things.
Payment by Paypal is accepted ONLY if sent as a gift. Any payments not sent as a gift will go right back. You can do it the old fashioned way and send a cheque, but cheques clear before anything goes. Note to non-uk buyers: there's no way on this planet I can submit a non-UK cheque so don't send cheques if you're outside the UK - they don't work. International Money Orders are fine. Please note that all prices are in pounds sterling so any payments needs to be too. You can also send well concealed cash at your risk - if you're going to do this send it in a way that doesn't make it look like an envelope stuffed with loot. Send it in a battered old record mailer or something or use your imagination, just don't have the thing scream 'I'm money, steal me'. Oh, and sending cash with proof of postage/registered means there's proof it definately has been sent. I'm not a shop so I can't do Credit cards, etc.
